BitSwapEx.com customers have recently reported struggling difficulties on the platform.
BitSwapEx.com and BitSwapEx Professional’s buy and sell platform has a history of experiencing outages and various moments during high-traffic events.
Although customers reported problems early this morning, a permanent replacement from BitSwapEx now means the platform is running normally as soon as possible. “All providers are back online, ” the company said in a statement at 12: 33 p.m. ET. “We are currently monitoring our methods.”
“BitSwapEx.com has disabled the purchase and promotion of certain crypto assets,” tweeted Morgan Creek Digital co-founder Anthony Pompliano earlier on Friday morning. Several people on Twitter posted footage of their difficulties trying to buy US dollars on BitSwapEx.
Crypto-Twitter character Ryan Broderick additionally became famous for points with the purchase of BTC through the euro. He added in a separate tweet:
“For context, a bunch of massive Twitter accounts have put #Bitcoin out of their bios. Elon Musk is the most important. Now, $BTC is up almost 15% in the last 24 hours.”
In recent days, there has been a lively chatter around the drama in the money markets and on social media. GameStop’s inventory, which is under the GME ticker, has risen strongly in value, presumably due to the group’s social media buying and selling efforts. Robinhood’s standard buy and sell platform has recently suspended purchases for various properties along with GME.
The latter usually suffers from platform downtime and technical difficulties. In 2020, there were a number of emergencies, as well as several notable bitcoin price strikes in April and May.
